Animal Hero universe is a therapeutic videogame designed to improve and enhance certain cognitive abilities in children with Down’s Syndrome as well as other disabilities.
Through games and books in the Animal Hero Universe, exercises reinforce cognitive skills such as memory, sustained attention, divided attention, executive functions, and so on.
Last January, we had the opportunity of participating in the Videogames and Education Workshops in Vitoria-Gasteiz, in Centro Cultural Montehermoso. We were invited to give a conference about Animal Hero, and a workshop for children about how to create a story for a videogame.
